  • Crohn's Disease
  • Colitis
  • Celiac Disease

"Life was a little crazy for me when I finally got diagnosed Ciliac. Even after eight months of gluten-free eating, I knew my digestive system could be better. I sought out Dr. Rebecca Lewis and started treatment in July 2010. After only three treatments I knew this was going to be the best thing I've ever done. I quicky noticed less bloating (enough to warrant some new pants!) and less digestive noises. Such a wonderful thing to have a quiet stomach!

Thanks to acupuncture and Rebecca's extensive knowledge of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), I now feel my life is back to 'normal'. I chose to continue eating gluten free but don't panic if something sneaks past me. And I can travel with no concerns! Life is grand, thanks to Dr. Rebecca."

"I am so grateful to have found Dr. Rebecca! I decided almost two years ago to change my lifestyle, and use alternative medicine to treat my various ailments, primarily my gluten intolerance. I found Dr. Rebecca on Yelp, based on the helpful reviews. At our first meeting, Dr. Rebecca took the time to get to know me, not just my symptoms. She helped me understand that there were other issues to be addressed as well, and I found almost immediate results. Her office has a relaxing vibe, is beautiful and spotless. She is able to accommodate my hectic schedule. She is intuitive, kind, compassionate and so supportive!"

"Acupuncture at its best! Dr. Rebecca has been my acupuncturist for a year and a half and she has been a savior for my physical and emotional state. When I arrived at Dr. Rebecca’s office for the first time, my body was a wreck, due to celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome and depression. I felt at ease when I first met Dr. Rebecca because of her genuine, kind demeanor and her passion to help me. I almost cried I was so happy when I left her office because I finally felt some hope! I love that I can walk into her office each week and she is willing to really listen to everything my body is doing (unlike all the rushed doctors out there), and she adjusted my treatments accordingly. Her knowledge is amazing and she offered fantastic suggestions and solutions to my issues. This is the best I have felt about my body and mind in the last few years. I am mentally more on track and focused, and physically, my body feels free of all of the craziness associated with the digestive problems. I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Rebecca and I highly recommend Dr. Rebecca’s services to anyone who needs help!"

"I’ve suffered from Colitis for close to 30 years, and during a flare up the only thing to control my condition was medication.

In March of 2011, I went to Equilibrium and saw Rebecca Sprintz who specializes in Traditional Chinese Medicine.  My main goal was to gain better overall health. Ironically at that time I was experiencing a flare up with my Colitis, which Rebecca was aware of.  To be honest I was a little skeptical that acupuncture would work but I was willing to try anything. After 3 acupuncture treatments and to my amazement my condition subsided without the use of any medications and I have experienced zero Colitis symptoms since.

I now have a whole new respect for alternative medicine and acupuncture."
